Peach Cobbler
Ingredients:
- (2) 29 oz. cans peaches
- 1 Stick butter
- 2 c Flour
- 2 c Sugar
- 2 ts Vanilla
- 2 ts Baking powder
- 1/8 ts Salt
- 2 c Milk
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt).
- In a large Dutch oven, melt the butter over coals
- To the dry ingredients, add the milk and vanilla. Whisk well to combine.
- Pour the batter into the Dutch oven with the melted butter.
- Pour in the peaches on top.
- Cover with lid and place coals on top. Cook for 20-30 minutes over the coals, checking often.
