Beef Pot Roast Dutch Oven Recipe


Ingredients:

  • 3 lb rump roast or pot roast
  • 3 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 potatoes
  • 4 carrots
  • 2 onions
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions:

  • Peel and slice potatos.
  • Peel and slice carrots.
  • Peel and slice onions.
  • Pour oil into dutch oven.
  • Heat dutch oven to 350 degrees for Frying.
  • Brown roast in oil, turning to brown all sides.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add vegetables and water.
  • Cover and Bake at 300 degrees for 3 hours depending on how well done you like it.
